We had a first this week. We took the boys out to dinner with Carol, Ken, and our friends the Goodmans. Jessica Goodman had her daughter Mia eight days before the boys were born, and they are going to spend their lives fighting over her. She is an absolute doll, with gorgeous big eyes and beautiful features. I wish I had a picture of her to share, but I bet we will have lots in the future. Who knows, maybe she will even be one of the boys' prom date...if they should be so lucky!
Anyway, the dinner was a great success! Both boys were happy and relatively quiet. Brent and I had two margaritas each and we felt like we had rejoined the land of the living. Other than carrying increasingly heavy car seats (those things are albatrosses!) it was a cinch! I doubt we will be bringing them to Ruth's Chris anytime soon, but we got the first experience behind us. Yay!
